Ashley is the founder of Urban Alchemist, project management and permits acquisitions firm for real estate investors, developers, and architects in Philadelphia. Prior to founding Urban Alchemist in 2018, Ashley had spent two years abroad working as a research assistant in Amman, Jordan, and Geneva, Switzerland. During this time she produced reports for a number of political, economic, and architectural institutions. Some of her research topics include the expansion and globalization of product supply chains in the fashion industry, female labor participation in Jordan, global water scarcity, rising energy costs, and the growing refugee crisis.
Ashley graduated cum laude from Temple University with a B.A. in Geography and Urban Studies (2016) and also received an advanced certificate in Arabic from the Qasid Institute in Amman, Jordan (2017).
Ashley is committed to unraveling the challenges facing contemporary cities and finding alternatives that offer better outcomes to citizens and shareholders in equal part.
